Charlotte Church
Charlotte Church is a Welsh singer who achieved prominence through her debut album "Voices of Angels" when she was only twelve years old. She is a gifted artist who has also acted in films as well as hosted an on-air show. She has shown a knack of singing since a very young time and started singing publicly from the time she was just three and year old. She started out as a hymn singer and then sang "Pie Jesu" over the phone for television shows at the age of eleven. That was followed by a performances on "The Big Big Talent Show" which brought her to the public's attention. Charlotte was able to sing at shows in Cardiff Arms Park, and Royal Albert Hall. Jonathan Shalit was one of the most prominent entertainment managers in Britain who recognized Charlotte's talents. Jonathan helped Charlotte get a Sony Music contract and then became her manager. The album that she first released, 'Voices of an Angel' released in 1999 was an immediate hit, making her the youngest performer to achieve the No. the British cross-country charts placed her album No. number one in 1999. Her popularity continued to rise as time passed and she was invited to perform before famous people like former US President Clinton, the Prince of Wales Charles as well as Pope John Paul II.
