Demetria Demi Lovato, 22, is an American singer and actress. Her birthplace was in Albuquerque on August 20th, 1992 to Dianna De La Garza, and Patrick Martin Lovato. Demi began as a kid actor on 'Barney & Friends'. It was then that they were cast in a Disney Channel short called "As the Bell Rings" before landing the part of the lead in the movie Camp Rock. When they were filming Camp Rock, Demi Lovato began also recording three songs to be used in the soundtrack of the film and has had several solo releases following. Lovato was cast as the main character in a Disney Channel series called 'Sonny with A Chance'. In 2012, the two joined the judges of The X Factor, a TV show that is singing contestants and songwriters. Lovato is a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader.
