Shay Mitchell has been a Canadian actress, model, and business owner for over ten years. Most famously, she is Emily Fields from the Freeform TV show Pretty Little Liars. Shay Lo became a popular nickname for Jennifer Lopez Mitchell fans. When she was a young girl, her interest in performance art grew. Her parents told her that one day she wanted to earn a living from it. After achieving great results in dance and modeling her passion for modeling, she decided to try her hand at acting, and started acting lessons in Toronto. Mitchell started her acting career by appearing in the production of a few television commercials. After landing guest roles and some small roles in television, she got her first major break on Pretty Little Liars when cast as Emily Fields. Fans and critics alike praised the quality of her acting.
