Her performances as Marina Cooper in Guiding Light as Marina Cooper and Dawson's Creek as Marcy Bender are her most well-known. She appeared on two seasons of Showtime show Weeds with Mary Louise Parker. Her most well-known role was portraying Judy Kramer on Fox's 2005 Point Pleasant series and Marcy on Dawson's Run. As a character on the Guiding Light soap production, she appeared as Marina Cooper. This role earned her an award nomination from Soap Opera Digest in 2003 for Outstanding Newcomer. Dollar also played Cindy Thomas, the ABC Television series Women's Murder Club's star from 2007 until the year 2008. Dollar was on the show as Happy Valley, a pilot for NBC in the year 2012. The show was never picked up.
